There are some foods that cause more damage to your teeth than others; it’s important to clean your teeth thoroughly at least half an hour after eating them, to prevent plaque becoming hardened tartar.
– Sweets and other sugary foods (e.g. dried fruit) and drinks (e.g. soda) provide the perfect environment for oral bacteria to harm the surface of your teeth
– Consider cutting down on alcohol as it can erode your protective tooth enamel
